Light your candles counter clockwise
Tonight we're going to wear death masks of angels
The lunar ringing of all doorbells
And smashing windows of parked cars

So love me like you've never loved before
Leave your violet flowers on my neck
The lucent glow of two brown eyes
And radio towers telling stories of our lives

Tell me what you see
Because I see you

I'll pick the broken glass out of your hair
And know the goddess lying in your heart
We took two splintered lives untamed
And glued the pieces of the puzzle saved

Another fancied artifact for you
Winding magnets trickling through the blue
I'll never really know that you are real
So please don't rouse me from this sleep

Tell me what you see
Because I see you

Ask the ocean how he felt
When we drove all night so that we could
Just watch the sun climb up his back
And drive back home what does he think of that?
