Good times, good times..
I'm trying to figure out what I have to write about that's worth your time reading. I think my life is pretty uneventful.. although I just mentioned this to Peter and he seems to disagree. I always seem to keep busy, just not with anything too significant, I suppose. I mean, no school, no job, ya know. But I want to reiterate that I have fun with my life. And yesterday was an awesome day.
It started out fairly frustrating, with me trying to burn White Trash, Two Heebs, and a Bean unsuccessfully. Twice. So I just went out and bought it. I hadn't heard that cd in so long. It's a really good cd, and it brought back this whole flood of memories. Yea, NOFX. And then Peter and I went to see Chicago. I thought the movie was spectacular. I really felt at times like I could have been watching it on a stage. The dance scenes were particularly impressive, my favorite being the ventriloguist number. I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't seen it. But, yeah, it was good.
After the movie we decided to go to Zen Garden because they have the best food ever. I got some fried shitake mushrooms. Yum!!! How is it so good?
After that it was CKY4 at Justin's house, and two games of magic. I kicked Peter's ass both times. Hehe. Then good old sleep.
Wow... what a good day! Good music, movies, food and company.
It was also a nice break from the work I've been doing with my parents. They're moving about 30 minutes away to Palmyra, so I've been moving boxes, cleaning houses, and painting walls. It really is hard work, only because it takes so long. But I'm glad I can help them move. I mean, it isn't something ya do everyday, and I really want to help all I can. Hopefully they'll be done by the end of this weekend.
My dad is coming over tonight to eat dinner. I'm borrowing this awesome vegan cookbook from Peter so I'm gonna cook up some yummy stuff. I need to go grocery shopping now.
