Miscelanious road ranting, ignore.

Over two weeks of not having to drive was awfully nice.

Of course, it only takes one morning to remind me of why I fucking HATE my commute. The bright glaring sun in my face, nearly getting caught in a speed trap less than one mile from home, impatient fools riding my back bumper while people going ten below the limit repeatedly pull in front of me, long lines of bumper-to-bumper cars making it obnoxiously difficult to get over into the needed exit lanes, huge trucks everywhere clogging the roads and shedding chunks of ice that slam into my car with horrible cracking noises.. ugh.

I would never be able to tolerate this if I drove during the actual rush hour. At least I get to miss the gridlock, and make the trip in 'only' 40 minutes.
