I got out the huge watercolor block, a bit of paper measuring 20"x14" marked "rough".  I'm not sure if that means hot press, which is rough in texture.  It doesn't mention anything except that it is mold made, and I've never bumped into one that isn't.  I put down a few trunks of aspens and some leaves and some ground cover and now I have



all kinds of aspens.  Well, they could all be one aspen since they are aspens.  For the trunks, I put down the watercolor thickly on one side, then pulled it out with water to mark the trunk.  Seems to have worked out nicely.  Took quite a few hours to finish off so much paper, even as a fairly simple theme.
