fifth tree

In celebration of the day, I chose to paint a specific tree in a place I've never been, the Palace of Westminster.  I found a suitable reference on flicker and attached it on a rather large scale.



Painting a 16"x20" board can be achieved in a single day, if the colors are fairly flat with a few details added in on top.
