Ok, so a few years ago (6 to be precise), me and a couple of friends head to this "people zoo" - an event out in LA where stars from old TV shows hang out and fans wander around and see actors from TV shows they grew up with. And marvel at how some of them are still alive because they thought for sure they were dead. I dragged my friends to this event because a couple of actor friends were appearing there and I owed one of them something and this was the easiest way to get it to him. So we walked around, got hit on by William Windom (guy who flew into the giant space log on ST), then decided it was time to head over to In N Out. Before we left though, we hit the ladies room.

Me and one friend were waiting outside the ladies room when all of a sudden, Rose Marie comes careening towards us. I'm pretty sure she was in a wheelchair earlier so I was surprised to see her on her feet and she's not too steady. Maybe it was a full bladder. Maybe it was too much gin. Whatever it was, she was on a mission to get to the ladies room and we were in her way. I don't recall what her exact words were but basically, it was "there better not be anyone in my way" and then she barrels through the door and I feared for the life of my friend, especially if that second stall was occupied (it was a two-seater). Katie came running out the door a couple of minutes later asking who that was and saying she was cussing up a storm about how there better be a stall available. We then doubled over laughing until Connie Stevens came over and asked us if we were in line. We said no and wished her luck. She looked at us funny and went inside. I've not seen her since.

Btw, not sure if you've seen Rose (I feel like we should be on a first name, Christmas Card list basis after that) recently but back in 2003, she was a little hefty and she's been the victim of a bad facelift or three. Back then it gave her sort of a Popeye look. With a blonde helmet of hair. Accented by a little black bow.

It's a memory I cherish.

That is so amazing and hilarious and awe-inspiring, LOL. :) Poor Connie Stevens.
