Happy Bastille Day!
In other news, I've spent way too much time in the last 24 hours trying to get a new high score on the freepoverty geography game. (Play a round, it's one of those charity sites like Freerice.) I'm pretty sure you can only achieve a satisfactory score if you are from Australia, because Australia is impossible. I can label a map of Africa with startling accuracy, but it is apparently physically impossible for me to remember where places like Toowoomba are located.
And for once in my obsessive little trivia-accumulating life, I don't even give a shit. Sorry, Australia. If it's any consolation, I also routinely fail it up on Canadian locations that are not Vancouver or Montreal.
