So yeah, Pushing Daisies has been canceled. I'm sad, because I love the show, and it makes me happy. Pushing Daisies is so easy for me to love, I think, because it is the least guilty of pleasures, it is like candy that is both filling and nutritious. And I love the actors, the writing, the look of it, the mystery and romance and silliness and subversiveness. Pushing Daisies is just about as perfect as a show could be for me. I'm going to miss it terribly, and I hope that at least the last 7 episodes get to play out on TV.

To make this terrible injustice up to me, the universe should get its shit together and bring me an Arrested Development movie.

In other news, Bronx Mowgli? That's... even worse than I thought it would be. At least it wasn't twins, the other kid probably would have made off even worse. Manhattan Aladdin has a certain cadence, but he probably would have ended up Queens Gaston or Staten Island Pinocchio.

And now, Your Moment of Zen.
