Holy shit, they just finished shooting a film version of Cormac McCarthy's The Road starring Viggo Mortensen, Robert Duvall, Guy Pearce, and Michael K. Williams (!!!!)
Ummm, can this movie come out now? SO EXCITED. Is it too early to call back-to-back Oscars for McCarthy adaptations?
Maybe Ridley Scott can finally get Blood Meridian made and it could be a three-peat. Although maybe it would be better if his Blood Meridian doesn't ever make it to filming, the idea of someone like Nicholas Cage playing the judge sort of makes me want to die. :/ Scott's made some decent movies, but it's fucking BLOOD MERIDIAN, you don't fuck that book up.
In other news, Jack's not coming back for S5 of Project Runway. Poo, I was hoping he would, I really liked him.
And Gary Dourdan plead out to a couple of the drug charges. Basically, treatment and no jail. Is it celebrity justice? I don't know, maybe, but he was sleeping in his car with a bunch of drugs, not selling smack to little kids, I don't have a problem with most non-violent drug criminal offenders avoiding jail time as a general rule. A lot of people really screw themselves over when they fail drug tests later, skip court appointed meetings, etc. so hopefully he gets his shit together and lays off the heroin/coke/ecstasy/whipped cream cartridges/aqua dots/etc.
PS DEXTER S3 SPOILERS. WHY IS SEPTEMBER SO FAR AWAY? Also, how has no one sued the living fuck out of this post-all-the-casting-sides site yet? No comprende, but whatever. Nice while it lasts?
