I always like your weekly updates. I should to them too, though I'm usually not as productive ;)

But yeah, the last week I really had to fight to finish the various Big Bangs. But I did it!

I find it's good to look back occasionally and be reminded of things I've accomplished or fought my way through. A weekly update helps as I'm really not that much of a blogger :)

I was tempted to do AtlantisBB again this year but had too much stress in so many areas of my life that I decided to cut myself some slack! I'm almost caught up on all the mcsheplets challenges--plan to start writing the latest challenge story now!

Awww. I wrote it for you (the so very belated Pay It Forward fic).

I do need one (or several) beta-reader/audiencer/context checker. There's so much in this universe that I'm afraid I might have some inconsistencies. So if you wanted to read and point out inconsistencies or things that need more explanation or are redundant...

And I'm a bit surprised my fic got picked early. For some reason, I've mostly had the experience that mine were picked late (though that was for multi-fandom fests and some of that Joe/David).

*ack!* lj never send me this message reply!

Yay! For me - I'm soooooo excited! it will be the 1st one I read.

I'm a horrible beta - so I would not have been much help there. I'm glad you did find someone.

I've seen John Farr posts before, but what exactly is it?

The John Farr posts started with lavvyan's story "Cycle". People started to write sequels, mostly in the same universe. There's a community for the universe that includes stories and meta: john_farr

Like others, I felt inspired by Lavvyan's story, though I didn't follow the canon that others have established, so my particular John!Farr universe is a separate branch off, starting with the story " Waiting to Enagage".

I remember looking at the community once before, and deciding not to read because it sounds like there's a lot of other pairings (and by that I mean Rodney/Other and John/Other), and McShep is my OTP. I have a difficult time reading them with others :\ Perhaps I'll just read the John/Rodney snippets though...

I'll definitely be giving yours a go, though!

Yes, that might be another reason why I never read in the main universe. I can only read John/Other, Rodney/Other under very specific circumstances. My story (the second one that comes between what I posted and the Big Bang) will actually have some John/Other engagements and mention of a relationship (as well as the John/Nancy marriage), but it's very clear that John isn't happy with his life until he meets Rodney.

McShep is definitely my OTP too :D
