Plus 2131 words in notes in addition to my original 10000 words. It's finally begun to come together in my head. Meaning I know what I'm writing, namely a story of two people who truly find love for the first time in their life in a place where they didn't expect it (which is why it takes so bloody long for them to buy a clue). I love the story. The other day I nearly brought myself to tears (in the best possible way) thinking about the final resolution. I think others will like the story, too. So what do I do?
Obviously I sit down and start writing a Joe/David (Semi-)Post-Apocalyptic RPS story. I've written over 1000 words of that this evening. Whereas I haven't written a single line for the Big Bang story in over a week. And I'm aware that it's pure self-indulgence, because who in hell will want to read a story where Joe goes just a bit crazy with grief, David has shouting matches with Jane, all with a vague war time feel to it? Well, I do and I'll write it for
Madelyn's Kink/Cliché Challenge.
I've got all the ordered fanzines now (i.e. Ocean View, Military/Intelligence, Surfacing). Have only read very little. Some great stuff. Some not quite. I'm itching to write an honest personal review/opinion, but I'm guessing that's a no-no. I guess I'd be too lazy anyway.
