After "Make Me Promise", people wanted to know that these two would be okay and I couldn't honestly say that they would be. I can't even promise that after this story they're okay, but I think that the people they became in the time they spent apart will help them get through it, and that might be enough. (And yes, I left questions unanswered, because life leaves questions unanswered - who was the guy Steve met in Saudi Arabia? What happened to the other kids, to Thor and Bruce and Pepper? What was Tony doing in this time? What happened when they were home for the summers? Where is Bucky? What is the plural of Bruce? I don't know, but if you do, feel free to say so.)

I intend for this to be the end of the 30 Seconds of Mindless Panic series. I have a few more half-stories, some ideas floating around, but for now I can't say I'm ready to write them, so I'm calling it done. Phew... That's a hard, achey story. I'm glad you got to incorporate the Coulson scene. I wish Steve had sent his letters, but I understand why he didn't.
