OK, so it's not a palindrome, but the point is, I'm starting to work out, lose weight and get back into running. When I'm in shape, my talents tend towards endurance.
I've done a sprint triathlon
I've done a century bike ride
So there's one distance event I haven't crossed off my life list: the Marathon.
The Philadelphia Marathon is in late November. The question is, can I go from a 3-mile-a-day runner to someone capable of the 26.2 in 6 months?
