Update and self-promotion
Things have been very up-and-down lately. My always precarious financial situation has taken a turn for the worse, but it's gotten me motivated to finally try freelance writing for money (got a couple of bids going, nothing for real money yet, but a few dollars and a portfolio piece will help me in the long run).
The Jerry Springer Three-ring Soap Opera is still going and going. Those of you who know what I mean will understand that.
In spite of all this, I had an incredibly good day on Saturday, went hiking with a new friend, then hung out with an old one. I needed that.
