its 2am, im bored, and watching the history of soda.
did you know that Pepsi-Cola was originally made as an aid for stomache aches? It got its name from an antacid medicine named Pepcid.
And, in an effort to rival Pepsi's success in the 1960's, Coca-Cola completely changed its formula and taste. No one liked it and even protested outside of grocery stores and poured liters of Coca-Cola out on the streets. Coca-Cola was bombarded with calls and letters so they changed Coke back to its old taste. Thats why all the bottles now say "Coca-Cola Classic".... interesting :)
