(no subject)
It's now winter-ish here in E-burg... although snow has yet to fall and stick! It's been in the single digits every day for over a week, but today is sunny, and a balmy 23 degrees!
Just really wanted to update with a "life is good" post :)
It's sunny, the pack is curled up at my feet, and I'm on our comfy couch sipping coffee and learning to play the mandolin. Also, I have a sandwich.
I may be broke and behind on bills, but I have so much to be happy about!
I passed my 464 jury (highest undergrad lever playing test in the music department), and will be graduating this year (as long as my recitals are decent!). I've been knitting up a storm and have most of my Christmas presents done, I taught Seth to knit, too and he's making me a scarf!
Not only that, but our two year 'anniversary' is coming up... yay!
Seth's band is doing really well, they're playing nearly every weekend, and the album is in it's final mixing stage. All I get asked recently is "when can I buy it?" so... money will be better, soon.
My good friend Jen is engaged and pregnant, my good friend Hayley just got married... a lot of my friends got married this year, actually! It's been a beautiful and festive few months.
ALSO, I'm getting a VW bus.
I have a beautiful, reliable 74 volvo, yes. But now my carport will be twice as beautiful because of the 1970 something- 3 I think (not sure yet), yellow, poptop, westfalia camper bus that I'm getting from a friend... for FREE.
Hell yes.
Back to my delicious coffee, and the stubborn mandolin. Pluck pluck pluck...
