Oh the joy of cats

For once I am not going to be exorbitantly wordy...or at least I'll try. I just wanted to say how cute and evil Lydia and Eliza are at times. Lydia, the elder of the two cats, has discovered like all women do in due time, the joy that is heating pads. I had the heating pad on my feet to keep them warm and I got up to get some food or do something, but by the time I returned she was curled up on the heating pad sound asleep. I petted her and she stretched, yawned, mewed, and began to purr loudly. This was several days ago when I was feeling crappy, but this helped to lighten my mood...she is addicted to the heating pad and hasn't been without it for the past few days. Eliza on the other hand is still in that 'kitten' stage of "MUST FUCK WITH EVERYTHING!"; point being, she got into the box of Dr. Peppers that Keith drinks and managed to pierce one of the cans with her teeth. Keith had just gotten up from a nap a few minutes ago, and we both discovered the puddle of Dr. Pepper on the floor. God, I'll be glad when she gets out of this phase and calms down. All in all, we're doing pretty good, and I think I'm getting over my bronchitis. Here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery by tomorrow. By the way, the 8th is due to arrive in about five minutes so hooray for our 6 month anniversary...woot! It doesn't feel like it has been that long, it feels longer (in a good way) but also it is strange that so much time has just flown by. With that said, adieu and good night.
