"Flurries" in the forecast now, sweaters everyday, Monday nights we're tucked into bed watching "Antiques Roadshow", an avalanche of holiday catalogs arrive every day in our new bigger better post box, mugs of hot cider or vanilla tea (with cream and sugar) and leftover Chex Mix from the Halloween party, sad soggy pumpkin faces in the compost heap, suddenly re-loving our house, Wisconsin state parks & wild turkey sightings, dreaming of cabins tucked into rolling hills, he returns with prickly kisses from his "deer camp" beard, de-halloweening the house with excitement for the new box of vintage turkey decor, poking around indie craftsy shops with my pal.
