This time around dealing with a newborn is much easier. I don't have the postpartum depression that I did with Arianna. Savannah I think is a much more laid back child. I hope at least one of them is laid back. Arianna is definitly a handful. Hopefully that will stop soon

seriously. you sound like you are in such a good place steph. i really am amazed at how well you're doing. i can't imaging having two little ones so close in age and handling working and all that. you're amazing to me.

Sometimes in the wakeful nights my mind wandered to what would have happened to me and my life if some choices hadn't been made and I hadn't moved out here to MD. Or hadn't met Scott and moved elsewhere or back to Monterey.

Not that it is what I am wishing for, I was just curious.

For instance, if Gray and I hadn't broken up there is a possibility that I would have been living in New Orleans during Katrina. Definitly wouldn't have wanted that.

I like my life and wouldn't trade it for the world, especially not my girls. :) And my husband can be awesome every now and then. :)

Ah, but then you would have evacuated to Atlanta and we still would have met, albeit 5 or 6 years later. It's kismet you know! :)
