How did this happen?
So, hi there. Long time and not a word from me, right? Almost a year without an entry. Also, and that's what this post is about, almost a year without writing anything that could be called a fic.
In fact, I haven't written anything ever since I bought my laptop.
I just stopped. Don't know why, not really.
But, now. Here's what happened today.
This morning I woke up with a teensy-tiny snippet of a scene in my head. Just one scene. A Mycroft/Lestrade scene, to be honest. I have never written them before, though I tried once, but nothing came off it. And now I had all of a sudden this scene in my head, this tiny bit of dialogue between the two of them.
It was about going for a beer, and then about a glas of Merlot... It' not really important what it was about.
Anyway, I sat down in front of my laptop and I started writing.
And hours later, there was suddenly this story that I'd somehow written without knowing it. About 3400 words, and if I may say so myself, not at all bad.
Only problem is... the scene I had in mind didn't even make it into the story! How the hell did that happen, huh?
Don't know, don't really care.
Because, and that's the really good part, even though the story is finished for now, I have left it at a point where it will be possible for me to add a second chapter that contains the scene I had originally planned to write. Good, right?
I'll post the fic once I have had dinner. I'm starving, haven't managed to eat something all day. Too busy writing.
