Canon Just Confirmed One Of My Stories
Seriously, this is great.
The latest Vampire Diaries episode has made me so happy just now. But not because of what happened there (although I liked a few bits in between the annoying stuff).
I jumped up and down in joy when I saw the time and place of the flashback they showed us today.

That's so wonderful! Canon confirmed one of my stories. "You again, you forever" has Damon in New York in 1977. And now I know that he was really there! That's amazing!
This now really makes me think about continuing that story. I abandoned it a long time ago, unfinished. And although the few reviews I still get from time to time have made me feel bad for abandoning it, they were never enough motivation to continue writing.
But now... now I'm thinking of getting back to it. Re-writing parts (because I've become uncomfortable with the explicit sex scenes I put in) and writing more, finishing it even.
I know that I should concentrate on real life right now, with the moving and flat hunting and what not... but, honestly? Today I don't have much to do anyway. I've packed almost everything I don't need for the remaining week here, so... I've got a bit of spare time on my hands. I'm gonna take a look at that story now, copy it back to my files (it only exists on the internet right now) and who knows... maybe inspiration will strike again.

EDIT: I just spent my entire day rewriting my story "You Again, You Forever". And I like it better now. But sadly enough, I couldn't find enough time to continue writing. I added about twenty lines to the last chapter, that's all. Well, maybe tomorrow.
Oh, and one other thing not Vampire Diaries related: Today I've watched the trailer for "Star Trek - Into Darkness". Two times in a row, because it was just so... amazing. Benedict Cumberbatch has never been so sexy. His voice alone, at the very beginning... wow! And I can't believe he's wearing a scarf! A very Sherlock-like scarf! I had to look twice to be sure. But he does!
I'm afraid I'll be watching that movie with very mixed feelings - because I like the bad guy best :-)
Can't wait for the movie to come out. May, 9th... it's too damn far away!
