Und wieder eine weg!
Today we got news at work, and it was news I'd already expected and dreaded: our current boss quit. She won't come back. And in her place we'll get the former boss back, the one that got transferred only a few months ago (because apparently there were some difficulties with a client or two... and now those difficulties suddenly no longer matter or what?)
Well, I guess I have to sleep on that. Don't know what to think of it yet.
Other, more pleasant news: Yesterday I did something completely spontaneous, I bought a new TV!!! A flatscreen! I've been thinking about it for some time now (although my old TV was okay, not broken or anything, just 14 years old and small). And I saw a few TV's in a brochure last weekend and yesterday, in a spur of the moment decision, I went to ProMarkt and got me a nice, slightly bigger, new Blaupunkt TV.
BUT... and here the trouble comes... I'm still getting not one digital channel and the other ones are of no great quality. Apparently the signal's too weak, I need to by an extra antenna or something. Huh, hadn't thought of that. But I'll do it some time next week and then I'll be able to watch brilliant TV.
