AMERICANS IN FAVOR OF TESTING JOHN MCCAIN FOR ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE
What is Alzheimer's Disease?
"Alzheimer's disease (AD), also called Alzheimer disease or simply Alzheimer's, is the most common form of dementia. This incurable, degenerative, and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist Alois Alzheimer in 1901. Generally it is diagnosed in people over 65 years of age,[1] although the less-prevalent early-onset Alzheimer's can occur much earlier. " 1. Alzheimer's Disease typically occurs in people over sixty five years of age, but can occur in those who are younger as well.
2. The symptoms of Alzheimer's disease include not only a loss of short term memory, but also the communication difficulties of decreased word fluency, and clumsiness of movement.
3. The onset of moderate dementia due to Alzheimer's can cause frequent incorrect word substitutions, and outbursts of unpremeditated aggression.
5. Among the side affects of not having a healthy lifestyle, cardiovascular risk is thought to add to the chances of suffering from Alzheimer's Disease later in life. Cardiovascular disease runs in McCain's family, with his father and grand father dying of sudden heart attacks.
6. Life expectancy for those with Alzheimer's is reduced.
7. There is no cure for Alzheimer's Disease.
8. Every five years after the age of 65 years the risk for acquiring AD doubles. John McCain is now 74 years old.
How is Alzheimer's Diagnosed?
1. Alzheimer's Disease is usually diagnosed clinically from the patient history, collateral history from relatives, and clinical observations, based on the presence of characteristic neurological and neuro-psychological features and the absence
of alternative conditions.[80][81] Advanced medical imaging with computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and with single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) or positron emission tomography (PET) can be used to help exclude other cerebral pathology or subtypes of dementia.[82] Assessment of intellectual functioning including memory testing can further characterize the state of the disease.[4] Medical organizations have created diagnostic criteria to ease and standardize the diagnostic process for practicing physicians. Sometimes the diagnosis can be confirmed or made at post-mortem when brain material is available and can be examined histologically.[83]

2. Actor Charlton Heston suffered from Alzheimer's at the age of 79, only five years older than John McCain.
3. Writer Iris Murdoc suffered from Alzheimer's at 84 years old, only ten years older than John McCain.
4. Famous novelist and author Terry Pratchet was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease at the young age of fifty nine - this is a whopping fifteen years younger than John McCain is right now.
Why has John McCain not released his medical records?
http://www.groupnewsblog.net/2008/09/john-mccain-dead-man-walking.html 1. He has been diagnosed with ongoing melanoma, a deadly cancer with a 65% survival rate over 10 years.
2. He may have PTSD. He spent five years as a POW.
3. His medical records are 1000 pages long...
4. He has a family history of cardiovascular disease with both his father and grandfather dying of heart attacks at younger ages than McCain is now.
5. He was a lightweight boxer for three years and boxers are known for a history of medical problems due to repeat head injuries.
6. In 2000, he told Jim Lehrer, "in 2004, I expect to be campaigning for the reelection of President George W. Bush, and by 2008, I think I might be ready to go down to the old soldiers home and await the cavalry charge there." This means he thought he'd be ready to die in 2008. Do we want a man who is ready to die any day as our president? Let's test McCain to see if he's still healthy and sound. This is a reasonable request.

This video attempts to criticize McCain for implying that Al Quaida is not made up of extremists (but I think we can all see what McCain was trying to say). More importantly, this video shows some of the verbal symptoms that are present with the onset of Alzheimer's Disease: incorrect word substitutions, and decreased word fluency. And this video makes a good case for just how delusional and confused McCain is. He appears to not remember what he has said and done in a number of different instances. In conclusion, it would be irrational not to demand full disclosure of McCain's medical records and do Alzheimer's tests on John McCain, a man who has high odds for acquiring Alzheimer's Disease and who appears to be confused, forgetful, and hot tempered.
We as the American people need to take a stand and assert our rights to choose a healthy leader who is mentally strong and capable of guiding us through the difficult times ahead.
Even if you do not like everything that the other candidate has to offer, keep in mind - having a demented leader during a time our country needs sanity would be far worse than riding out the next four years with a delegate that may not be able to do "great" things.
