(no subject)
Wow, I've suddenly been filled with a rush of Yami no Matsuei love. Which is unfortunate, given that the fandom appears virtually nonexistent.
I always hope I'll go back to my old fandom loves. I've never done a proper return, but one never knows. Still, it's hard to muster up enthusiasm when everything is so quiet. I want squee with people! I want discuss and analyze! I want to complain about how stupid the rest of fandom is! (I've discovered that the last is actually a pretty important part of my fandom participation.)
But, man, there are like three people on my friends list who know the series, if that many. And no one's quite as active. Which is okay! No one's life should revolve around my fandom desires. It's just a little sad.
I brought it on myself, really, going exclusively White Collar for years. Even now I don't know if I'll ever properly come back to my old fandoms. (Honestly, at the moment, I don't know where I'm going.)
I have gotten a couple nice comments on the ficlet I just posted! I don't want to make it sound like it's all doom and gloom.
(But, like, if you want me to write you Yami no Matsuei fic, now is the time to ask.)
