Two Merlin Drabbles

Title: Before Mine Eyes
Pairing: Morgana/Gwen

A/N: For femslash100's prompt 189: watch. I wrote this to prove that I could write not depressing Gwen/Morgana.
Gwen watches Morgana more closely than anybody else. She needs to. As Morgana's handmaiden, she must see to all her mistress' needs.
She watches Morgana comb her hair in the morning, the brush running through a river of black ink.
She watches Morgana verbally spar with Arthur, the way her lips curl and her eyes dance.
She watches as Morgana looks from the window at the knights sparring below. There's such hunger in her eyes-she wants to be among them, acknowledged as an equal-that Gwen's breath catches.
It's only when Morgana kisses her that Gwen realizes that she isn't the only watching.

Will has always been the practical one. Merlin was the dreamer with his head in the clouds, while Will kept his feet firmly on the ground. It worked for them, achieved a kind of balance.
Will felt lost when Merlin left, but he came back and Will thought it could be the same.
He was wrong.
Arthur Pendragon is the biggest arse Will has ever had the misfortune of meeting, and it's sickening the way Merlin follows him around like a puppy. Merlin deserves better, deserves someone who understands him, who can be trusted. But Merlin is a fool, so he trots after Arthur, wearing a smile as bright as the sun.
Will wants his friend back. He wants what they had before, wants to be the only one Merlin sees.
He wants to be able to say good riddance, but he could never deny Merlin anything.
Which is why he's currently bleeding out on a table. Arthur is a bastard, but he's Merlin's bastard, and Will would give Merlin the world if he could. So, he'll take Arthur's death and confess to Merlin's secret.
He'd laugh if he had the strength. All this time, he thought Merlin was the fool.
