Fic: Wit & Whiskey

Here we go: the final part of the Tony/House -trilogy, the only R-rated one and by far the silliest one, too. Once again, beta-thanks to btsxbeta. :) I don't have any plans for writing more fic with this pairing - I sort of suspect that all the sneering etc would soon begin to feel like it's repeating itself - then again, you never know... Anyways, on with ( Read more... )

Wonderful! I really enjoyed this little adeventure Post-S4 and "Iron and Irony".
I really like this crossover, you've created a very explosive dynamic between Tony and House, which is great.

I hope you write more of this, I wouldn't call it "pairing", but certainly of the two of them together.

Heh, well, considering what the two characters are like, it wasn't too hard to make the dynamic between then explosive - they did it themselves. ;) Glad you liked it. :) Like I said, well, don't know about the future of the two of them, my next story is going to be something else entirely and with a different pairing (or "pairing" anyway). They were so much fun to write though, that maybe some day...

I'm so pleased to have been helpful with this great fic! I love the pairing and what you have done with them. WOO!

Can't wait to see the next pairing you turn your attention to. :D

The pleasure is all mine. I'm so glad I've actually found someone to beta my stuff so that it really works :D Thank you once more, you were wonderfully encouraging and helpful. :)

I've written about one half of the next fic I'm working on, might take a while before it's all done - but you'll be the first to know when I am. ;)

Odd... I thought I left a comment for this. Guess I wasn't logged in or something when I read it awhile ago. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly what I was going to say now.

It does have its silly moments, but it's a good, drug-induced silliness, not a writing flaw. They are a fun couple, when they aren't at each others' throats (inevitable with two such strong personalities.) I enjoyed your M&M series very much, and I look forward to your next IM/House crossover, the sequel to I&I.

Thanks. :) As it is, this is a story I wasn't sure I could pull off when I started writing it, and now, later on, looking back at it, I've got really mixed feelings about it. But as long as at least someone thinks it's fun, I guess it's not entirely bad.

I decided to review this one too, even though it has been quite a while since you wrote it. I seem to be on a 'read and review veldeia's older fan fictions' spree. Oh well

Anyway, I really loved all three in the trilogy. You did a great job and I really love Stark and House as a pair even if they aren't a 'pairing' in the usual sense of the word.

I especially loved the second installment because lets face it, I too am a gigantic hurt/comfort slut. Tony is going to have one wicked scar :D

In summation, you did a great job with these :D

I don't mind if it's an old story, I still love getting comments. :) I especially appreciate getting positive comments for this particular trilogy, since I've got mixed feelings about it - ever since someone pointed out that it's sort of OOC for both of the characters, I've been I thinking it was a really silly thing to write.

Hurt/comfort slutness, yay! <3 If you haven't read it yet, go check out Cryobiosis, that one's a pure hurt/comfort/angst story. Doens't have House, though. But I really like how that story turned out.

Personally, I liked their characters very much. They may have been a bit OOC but it worked, because without it the story wouldn't have flowed quite as well. I see their personalities in the story as different aspects of who they are as opposed to a misrepresentation of them. I don't think there would be logical way to pair Tony and House together without tweaking their characteristics a little bit. In short, you took creative liscense and, in my opinion, it worked ( ... )
