WIP meme & progress report
Since everyone else is doing it and I was going to talk about this stuff anyway:

So, I have a bunch of WIPs at the moment, in different stages of the writing process. I'm really only working on fics in the Whoniverse right now, and ignoring the other, older stuff. I've got two more-or-less finished fics. The longer one, the one I mentioned in my previous post, a Doctor Who/Torchwood-crossover, basically a mystery fic with a little bit of everything, is being betaed at the moment. I'll hopefully get to posting it within a week or so, unless the beta person thinks it's complete rubbish.
The second finished fic is an odd little thing that just popped up, around 2000 words, something completely different from the stuff I usually write, since it's pretty much just drama and nothing else. It's also one of those fics that have multiple characters played by the same actor (but NOT of the pr0ny sort :P), as it's a crossover between Doctor Who and Recovery, a TV drama David Tennant did. I might actually post the fic later today, if I decide that's a good idea - I seriously doubt anyone will be interested in reading it, anyway.
Then there's the unfinished stuff. Basically, there's only one story I'm really actively writing, and that's because it's for the tardis_bigbang. It's basically an AU of the Doctor Who S4 episode Midnight (Now with extra angst! As if the episode wasn't nasty enough for the Doctor originally). This is the first time ever I'm writing fic so that it's got a deadline and a preset minimum word count, so I'm kind-of anxious about it. Then again, the target is 20 000 words, I've written longer fics than that, and I've already got about 5000 words done, and there's plenty of time left. Actually, I'm pretty sure I can finish it in time. I'm just not sure whether it'll be any good - but I never am, so...
