I've written about 7000 words of a fic that's a sequel of sorts to the two Bioses, but gah, even if I do finish this some day, I'm still not sure posting it would be a good idea. Some reasons for this

Please publish it, I love hurt comfort involving Iron Man! If you want to send it to me privately, Magic_Amethyst80@yahoo.com. I'm dying to read it. If you need suggestions on how it should end, or just about anything I would be willing to help out.
Honestly, nowadays you are the only author I read regularly, and I anxiously await anything you write and live for your Iron Man Hurt/Comfort.
-It's ridiculously angsty, and I think it's more depressing than the stuff in Cryobiosis or Iron & Irony. Also, I don't think I've ever brought my characters this close to the edge when it comes to emotional/mental health, and I've no idea if I'm doing it right, or if their behavior is even marginally believable.
I like angst, and I like seeing characters close to the edge! You are covering new ground, and it is okay to be nervous. I think with a character like Tony Stark, you have to take him to the edge sometimes.
There isn't a whole lot of action in the story except for the very beginning, nor is there any romance, because this is a gen story. Combine that with lots of depressing angst and a plot that mostly centers on medicine, and I'm afraid this'll end up being a tedious read.
I live for gen, I usually don't need any romance. I love medical plots, and I will certainly not consider it tedious.
Of course, the reason I'm still writing is, I totally would read this story myself, and I'd probably like it, but then again, I'm weird and obsessed. I think this story makes that point really well. Agh.
Well, I'm just as obsessed with h/c as you are, and if this point makes a point really well, I would be veyr curious to see how you do it.
(Also, someone might suggest at this point that I could always have the story betaed before I post it, but, blah. I'd be too embarrassed to get any in-depth comments on this. No. It's simply not worth any beta reader's time. I'm pretty sure I'll post this unbetad or not at all.)
Please post it, if you want it to be beta'ed, but not meanly critiqued, I would be willing to do so, please pretty please post it! Heck, you could keep it f-locked so that only those you know will be reading it.
Hee, no need to get so desperate, there's a very good chance I'll end up posting this anyway. Too curious to see what people will think about it.
I guess I just needed to vent a bit because this story is sort-of driving me nuts, and because I'm afraid I'll end up doing something I have done before, which is messing up a story because I get too caught up with the medicine. I've done it with a few otherwise perfectly nice Stargate-fics, which would've been better and more balanced with a bit less ER in them. On the other hand, this is a very different story than any of those, I planned it as one that mostly takes place in the hospital, and so on.
Shouldn't take too long, I'm working on the last chapter now. :) This'll be some 15 000 words once it's finished, six chapters. And I think I'll just post it here at my lj, and then, if everyone here thinks it's not a bad idea, I might consider posting to starkindustries.
