my dad made me look at some picture in the chinese newspaper, worldjournal, of some girl student. it was a drawing. she was wearing this long pleated skirt and her hair was tied back, and she had like four shirts on, covering her entire self, and my dad was like "see, when i was your age, girls at school dressed like that. she's a good girl, she knows how to dress." and he pointed everything out, about how her hair was neatly tied back and she wore subtle colors. and then he looked at me, and i laughed. i sat down and looked at him, and laughed some more.
i then went on to tell him about how girls at my school like to wear skirts that barely cover their asses and shirts that aren't really shirts.
and then i left.

i think i should make a journal devoted to telling stories about my dad.
