Ammoniac reek from the bag of scooped cat litter I took out this morning.
Dumpster with its foul garbagey musk, several blocks of that.
Abandoned recessed storefront, opportune place for bums to do their business, overpowering stench of urine. I'd hoped the hurricane would have washed that clean, but apparently not.
Something reminiscent of a decaying body from an alley further down. Just an animal...I hope.
Burning rubber.
Bus exhaust.
A lady with too much perfume, surrounded by a cloud of cigarette smoke as she exhales it.
More garbage.
Bacon frying in the breakfast/lunch diner, stomach-curdling and nausea-making.
Mildew and rot smell creeping up from the basement of work. Paint fumes and sanding grit from the construction further down the hall.
Heavy saturation of chicken, more stomach curdling. I like Lee's Chicken, what is wrong with me. >_<
Sweat and musk from the construction-dressed man fumbling slowly down the street.
Even more garbage.
This whole city smells of decay and trash and good old human waste, and I am stuck in the middle of it.
