And I don't know what to think of the Batman anime XD;...I guess I'll have to see it, out of curiosity.

The Batman anime's actually some sort of 6 part installment, like the Animatrix or something. I think this means we'll get different styles. One hopes, anyway. That mask is going to give me nightmares.

The anime is actually six (I think) chapters, each by a different animator. So the Gatchaman-style mask version won't be the only one. There are some notably less bish versions of him as well. Alas. :)

I really didn't expect him to be.. quite SO bish either (especially with existing, pretty decent approximations, like Big O's Roger Smith.. who I hear was supposed to be for Japan's Bruce Wayne fans anyway :D) Totally looking forward to seeing the other available models versions of him!

As someone already pointed out, the Batman Anime is actually a collection of six parts done by different artists/groups, kind of like that Matrix Anime thing they did as filler between, what, the first and second movie? I didn't pay attention too closely since I can't stand the movies, but the anime parts were interesting.
