Currently watching the one where Superman totally bites it
It be my free day, and blow precious hours o' the day out of the water, I do! Okay, I can't talk like a pirate. Totally fail. Um, ARRRRRRR.
I've got about two papers to take care of for tomorrow and I really do plan to get out there sometime later today so I can do some gesture sketches for my portfolio on Friday. As it is, I'm just sitting here with a little movie called Superman: Doomsday
Thoughts not two seconds into it: DOOD, GAY!
Lex is a special brand of homosexual this time around, in the sense that he is.. more than he usually is. Also, he is voiced by Spike!James Marsters. This makes my heart smile. Also, dude, gay. The movie opens with Lex narrating his own eye-raping of a collection of his giant Superman photos. This, too, makes my heart smile. And, um, Y'ARRRRRR MATEY.
Haven't finished the movie yet. The opening credits just rolled. I figure this can't be SO bad a Timmverse!movie (well, it's not really Timmverse, they're just using he designs, only ugly) as long as Superman doesn't end up crying his Sailor Moony Tears of Healing on anyone. Again.
WHY IS JAYNE COBB SUPERMAN? WHAT IS GOING ON? HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? I know they're using like a third of the Firefly cast in the Timmverse!JLU, but honestly now! Y'arrrr shiver me timbers.
EDIT: Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. This movie has two Supermans (Supermen?) oil wrestling. And a stablefull of completely nude Superman clones. Even if this movie ends up sucking, WE STILL WIN.
