Honestly, I really like flat colors too, but I think the lineart really needs to look a certain way for them to work, which mine usually.. doesn't, so I don't do it much.

I dunno, I thought Brubaker did all right at damage control following the post-Ellis stuff... (but then by that point, I was also desperate...)

That's true. Brubraker's run was good and it's too early in Morrison's to tell. Though, no one matched the sheer Holy Shit! factor that Ellis had in those first six issues.

Hell, The Jack Hawksmoor short he did for the Wildstorm Summer Special was better than every issue of Millar's run combined.
