Hey....
Hey again,
I had such a good day today and I feel really good. I wrote a couple poems today in which I will put at the bottom of this entry. And I did a really good deed too. I was getting off the bus today and I noticed that a kid was struggling to carry his stuff and walk on crutches at the same time, so I offered to carry his things to class to help him out. I felt so good doing it too. Proud of myself. And you know what else I realized today? That I can make so many people smile just by saying "hi" to them. That is something that I never realized before today. It's amazing how quickly a smile can jump from one person to the next and all you did was look at someone and share your happiness with them! I love knowing that I can make another person smile. It really does warm my heart and soul. I actually talked to someone new on the bus today instead of listening to my C.D. player. That felt really good too.
Tomorrow night I get to go out with James. We're going to a concert with a band called 'The O Zone.' James personally knows the lead guitarist in the band and I get to hear them play together before the whole thing starts! That is gonna be so awesome! I love James with all my heart. And you know what else? I wouldn't trade him for anyone in the world. (And yes, that includes Dale Jr.!) I love to hear him say that he loves me with all his heart every time he gets off the phone with me. And if I got to hear him say that for the rest of my life, I would feel so blessed. And just writing that makes me realize I am blessed. I'm blessed to be alive, to have James, to posess musical tallent, and to be able to write. There are so many things to be thankful for, and I pray and thank God for them every day!
