Openness

For once, the Lycan was human. And that upset her- she was growing quite fond of her fluffy form, but nevertheless she had found herself dressed in slick, sexy clothing, in a cafe that could only exist in NY: The Sneaky Shrew. The food was good, and if she was on the top of her game tonight, it would be easy to charm the waiter into giving her the ( Read more... )

"I know I was asking for them to stare. You should know me at least that well, Curtus. I'm reckless! And I love it. I don't get bored. But thanks, I'll remember that and I won't do it again." His growl made her hyper, so she began to bounce.

She just stood there, once she had found her human form. She hugged the shirt close and stared at the man, the very large, intimidating man in front of her. The one she was absolutely crazy about, the one she wanted to leap into right now and kiss- but she was one that was shy about kisses, though the one that he had given her she couldn't deny she liked.

"Thanks. No worry about the pants. I've been stuck with less...and Curtus, why are you being so nice? It doesn't seem like you're the type to be nice. By the way? I guess this is a better time than ever." She found a comfy seat and draped the shirt over herself, taking in a deep breath of...cinnamon?...It brought a smile to her face. That was something she hadn't expected.

"You know that I really do like you, right? And you know I usually make a game out of your kind...males, I mean. Because they're easy and fun to chase down. But you...it seems like you've stolen the dice from me on this one," she nodded, a small smirk touching her lips, "And rolled them without me because for some reason, I don't feel like I'm so much in charge of the game now. I don't want to FUCK you. It just doesn't seem right anymore. And when you walked away...'I want you' coming from you sounds like more than that. Like a much bigger commitment than I have ever found any male capable of." She had had trouble breathing throughout that speech of hers, and it left her very vulnerable- but it wasn't like she couldn't get up and walk away just in case.

Her eyes were now looking down at the shirt that spread over her body, her body that was longing to be uncovered but a mind that was begging her not to..not yet. "Now I've said that...you're not bad yourself. You have a gorgeous body."

Curtus listened, his eyes fixed on Valentine.
She's nervous. Why the fuck is she nervous?!

"Uh, thanks." He said with a bit of a laugh. But it was time to be serious and honest. So, tossing the shirt on the bed Curtus crouched on the ground before Valentine looking up to her.

"I don't know if I'm capable of what you need." It wasn't about want this time. Curtus knew want could change everything, but need would make it last. "And you're not just some fuck or playmate. Though I do have fun with you." Curtus was finding it difficult to hide, due to his nakedness, the arrousal from being so near the very naked and attractive woman.

Caustiously he placed his hands on her thighs, not in a possesive sense, but to brace his body as he stood a little, bending close to Valnetine's face.
"But I do want you. Your body, your annoying little habbits, your infuriating nature and your cunning mind."

Bring on the sap.

"I want to try and be what you need. So give me a hand here," That grin flashed across his face. "What do you need? Not want, but need?"

Oh, lord.

Was this really happening? What kind of man...what kind of man asks you what a girl needs? What kind of man dares ask a question like that? But before Valentine could snap back, the realization set in exactly what kind of man does that.

A good one. One that genuinely wants you around, not just for a good fuck. One that's...honest. And that scared Valentine more than anything this night. She took a deep breath- just to make sure she still could- and forced herself to look at the Lycan, the lycan telling her to tell him her needs.

Her..needs?..."I...I never thought about it before, Curtus," her voice was strangely soft, "I've...I've never based anything I've ever done on need...just want. Want to be stupid, or fiesty, or silly or sexual. I..." What a question! All because she had chased him as far as she could, and obviously she had chased the right man. Though they waivered, her hands touched his softly as she swallowed harshly.

"...I need...ugh. I need to be able to touch you without you...cringing. I need you to let me know you think I'm beautiful. I also need to know how serious you're being right now- I need to know if this is some week stand or...or a longer one, or not a stand at all." I need to know why I'm telling my secrets to this man. "I need you to...to be you." Was that too much to ask? She hoped not.

Her foot was fidgeting out of absolute nervousness. Valentine never got nervous- not ever. It didn't make sense to her to get nervous, or jealous, but here she was, unable to tear her eyes away from his. "How about you?"

Curtus smiled and leaned closer.

"You." That was all he could say before his lips, softly not like before strangely sweet met hers but his hands trailed away from her thighs and rested on the arms of the chair she sat in. It wasn't a pressuring kiss, it was kind and almost needy.

Pulling away after a few intoxicating moments, this time not at fault to the scotch, Curtus was breathing hard. He was blatently arrosed but that didn't matter right now. Smoothing the hair from her face his hand lingered down to her neck bringing her eyes into his.

"This isn't some one night, one week stand. Honestly Valentine you scare me. The way you linger on my mind, the way I can't get your smell out of my head. The fact that given the chance, forced to make a decision that would mean pushing you away I woudln't. Not now. I need you. As stupid as that sounds I need you, because your beautiful, beacause you piss me off, because you remind me that I'm not just some dog. You remind me I'm a man and that I need a woman." Backing away a little he felt like he's said too much, like he'd gone past that barrier and knew there was no turning back.

Curtus nearly pulled away completely but he didn't.
"I need you. If you'll have me."

"Looks like we have a couple things in common. We scare eachother. This scares us. And we both feel vulnerable...not to mention neither of us sit here unaroused." A small smirk was all she could muster, but it was enough to light up her eyes as she sighed at him. "You don't need me...you don't. Though I can't say honestly I mind you saying that. Actually, it's amazing hearing someone saying it."

The kiss...was just as interesting as the first one. It still shocked her when he did it- it just seemed strange, as did he to her. As did this whole thing. What was she doing?!

"Honestly, Curtus, you should scare me in more than one way. Do you know how harsh you come off as? But you don't. It intrigues me. It...it's...it's wonderful. No...don't push me away..." Her hands reached down and wrapped arond his waist and brought him gently up to her face, even though he had just backed away. "Bring me closer." She would have kissed him...she would have.

But she couldn't. It was against her nature and she couldn't disobey that just yet. Instead, her hands flittered around on his back and her eyes filled with emotion as she looked at him, unaware of how hard she was really falling.

"I remind you that you're not some dog because you aren't just some dog to me...you're much more than that." The word had come up a lot tonight, but it was hard to describe him as anything else.

Maybe through all the stupidity, all the fear and harshness and distance they both created between themselves and others, they could work.

Curtus felt himself loosing control. He didn't want to pull away but he was terrfied of pulling her closer.

Everything would change. He was comfortable with people thinking he was some asshole who didn't give two shits about anyone. Truthfully thought, he didn't want to be alone anymore. It made him feel weak. Valentine made him feel weak.

Folling her words Curtus wrapped an arm around her waist, his skin tingling at the touch of hers, Valentine's skin soft and smooth. His hands felt shakey but they were unbelievably steady. Pulling Valentine up with little effort, her frame came up into his warmly.
"I do. I do need you." He whispered before his lips met hers again, his strong arms lifting Valentine completely from the chair and pulling her as close as he could, soft warm skin resting against his.

Lord, was she...no. She wasn't. All of a sudden it felt like it wasn't even a game anymore- screw dice, screw cards and an Ace up your sleeve. It all came down to them and only them, and she was lost on what to do.

She had never heard someone say they needed her, but he had. More than once. Someone needed her? Someone needed her to...to exist? That was the calming aspect of all of this. Someone needed her to exist and that someone had now brought his lips to her and sparked a feverish pitch within her, a frightening one that sent shivers all over her body and tensed her up. If she let it happen, she knew what would happen tonight.

But she didn't know if she was ready for what Curtus was presenting to her, very out in the open- they were naked, afterall, and that in itself presented the situation as sexual, to say the least. Her hands wrapped around his back, to help keep her self supported, and the shirt slid to the floor, despite Valentine's best efforts.

Her lips trembled but she held the kiss nevertheless, some sweet affection tugging on her to let things happen...because everything happens for a reason.

Curtus staggered back a few steps but stopped. He didn't swing her onto the bed, didn't toss her down in a feverish sexual tension.
He just held her, standing here, her bare in his arms kissing her softly. His hand slid up her back slowly to slide into her hair.

He wanted to feel and savour the moment. Each second rolled over him slowly but he never pushed for more. Just this. This sweet intoxicating moment of closeness.

Curtus missed it, missed being near someone, feeling them not just the action. It wasn't about sex, hell it wasn't about the kiss. They could just be standing there together and he'd have been happy.

But the more Curtus thought, the more he realized it wasn't only that he missed having someone near him, he needed to HER, Valentine, this beautiful, painfully annoying, infuriating, smart, cunning, sexy, sensual, trembling woman in his arms. Her. Not just anyone.

Just you.

She couldn't help but let a smile come to her as she dared to pull back from the kiss, even if it was only going to be for a moment. "I definitely didn't expect this. Out of everything I expected tonight, this was not one of them." Her hands encircled him and she leaned against his chest sweetly, something she had never imagined herself to do.

It was cuddling, an affectionate cuddling, and it was the strangest thing to ever come over Valentine. As she planted a kiss on his naked chest and her hands were dancing up and down his back, enjoying the change from a warm spot to a cold one, thoughts plagued her. All kinds of thoughts.

He was a male lycan...but...what kind of male lycan?...Maybe not all males fit a stereotype. Maybe this one didn't. He didn't seem to, not yet at least. "You're amazing." One of her hands slid up to his cheek for a second try, her thumb brushing between his neck and lower cheek bone. "You know that? Do you have any idea what twists you've thrown me into tonight?" She was smiling, so obviously they weren't bad turns, but enough for her to mention them.

I'm...I'm yours. For once in her life it wasn't 'gotcha' or 'you're mine.'

Curtus closed his eyes as her hand brushed his neck and cheek, nuzzling his face against her hand. As she spoke he smirked and let a smal chuckle through.

"I was expecting you to ignore me at the restaurant." he said, his eyes opening. "And I'm not amazing. Just conflicted." He added, Curtus' hand smoothing along the side of her hip and lower back, his other at the base of her neck, fingers fluttering softly through her hair.

"Havn't decided whether to call you Kitten or Valentine, cuz I'm starting to like the sound of your name." He smirked that cocky grin that said 'try me' all over his face. He liked teasing her and he knew damn well Valentine liked to tease as well.

Softly he kissed her forhead, something he found was rather unc haracteristic of himself.
"I-" Curtus stopped himself. He was getting too serious, was treading dangerous ground. So, instead of speaking he let his lips meet her cheek sweetly and pulled her close into a deep enbrace.

"I was expecting myself to as well. I didn't expect just to get up and walk over to you...then I chased you down here, Curtus. I CHASED you." She rolled her eyes at herself. God, was he under her skin and how damn amazing did that feel. "No, you're amazing. Trust me. I don't think you'd be rubbing against my hand if you weren't amazing. And wonderful." She never complimented. It wasn't her style.

But then again, standing naked with a man pressed against her was unlike her as well. She faked a gasp as he said her name- for probably the first time, that she could remember.

"Wow. You actually SAID my name. Considering I'm not a cat, you might want to stick to Valentine. Good, too, because I liked the sound of your name when I first got it." Her eyebrow raise let him know she was teasing him back, and having fun while she did. "Just...keep away from the abbreviations of my name, alright? They seem too.." Comfortable? Please, Valentine. Please. "Too odd for right now. You know, like Val. Or Vally. No one ever calls me those anyways."

She took a breath when he kissed her and a smirk slipped to her face, but she had to lower his chin to her when he cut himself short. "You what, baby?" Baby?!

He smirked and looked her in the eyes.

"Nothing, beautiful." He couldn't think straight, that was it. Spurr of the moment crap, that's all. Sure Valentine actually meant something but still. Just spurr of the moment.

"Ok. Now, I'm not gonna lie and pretend I don't wanna drag you over to that bed there." he started smirking and raising his eyebrows suggestively.
"But I'm also not gonna lie and say that'd all I want." He kissed the corner of Valentine's lips, a smile still on his face.

"So tell me, what do you want right now?" Bringing back want into the situation he wore that smug smile for a long while.

"what I want is you. Simple as that...What I need..." her hands slid suggestively down his sides, "is a different story."

She kissed his neck before leaning down to tease one of his nipples with a gentle bite. her mood changing from overly sappy to straight out aroused- it had been well contained all night until the very moment Curtus had said bed. She stopped momentarily to lick straight up his chest, laugh and comment: "I'm not going to lie either." And she ran a single finger down his very obviously happy friend. "Right now."

She was good at the turning of moods, and she was flexible when it came to sexuality as well. Submissive? Dominant? Whatever.

"But you eventually have to-" she cut short to take another nibble at the other nipple, but let go once again to look up, "tell me what you were doing to say." Her heart was already beating quickly as the cinnamon swirled around her, stronger than ever. Would it be the same as all the others?

Curtus laughed, surprisingly she made him a little nervous. But that damn finger and those lips.

Damn. He groaned a bit, soft but distinct.

"Eventually is fine. But right now I don't feel like talking." Sliding his hands down both her sides he smootherd them back up until his hands came up and slid over her breasts, taking one in each smoothing his thumb firmly over her nipples in slow powerful movements.

"Fine with me." She let out a bit of a squeak before she grabbed one of his nipples softly- though it was definitely a grab- and pulled him towards the bed. She was a natural tease, so none of this came unnaturally to her.

And she was never one for foreplay. That was a vampire thing.

His hands felt wonderful, and it only made her mood...pun intended, dampen. God the treatment she got from t his man.

She pulled him straight onto the bed, swfitly hitting it with a soft swish and uprising of air. The matress was wonderful, and she'd have to ask him about that later- when her thoughts were more focused and less 'take me now', which is exactly what she wanted him to do.

GRinning Curtus kissed her fiercly, his hands running down her chest to her waist and then to her thighs. Her skin felt amazing, so soft under his touch but he wasn't answering to a human side now.

Animal passion seemed to push through as he growled against Valentine's lips, the sound thundering in his chest. Slipping his hands, one her side, the other bracing his body Curtus brought himself closer to Valentine.

"Good." It was a definatly growl as he spread Valentine's legs and slid his head inside of her, hesitating a moment before connecting their lips and driving into the woman beneath him.
