Appalled
I could go on for days about my hatred of religious idiocy.. as well as much steadfast dislike for Miriam's current ideas of how to raise her children. I read their family blog, mostly to keep up with what's going on since Sebastian IS my stepchild. Is it wrong for her to incourage Sebastian's calling Brian (her husband) "dad"? She always refers to Serge as "Serge" instead of "dad". It's not right and I don't like it.. I understand that Brian is basically her children's father in many ways, he lives with them, takes care of them, etc. I get it.. However, to disregard their real fathers, especially Serge who is completely different from Victoria's father, is plain selfish. She's doing it because she doesn't want to acknowledge him. I hope when Sebastian gets older he will understand what's going on and know what Serge has been through trying to be his father.

Most days, I don't even think about being an atheist. I just am one. I hate to argue and deal with confrontation the way Serge does. But, today, I'm really really glad I am one.
