News and my anniversary

Mister Rogers reference FTW! The whole thing about "America doesn't do what's easy, we do what's necessary"... bring in the Baconaise! HILARIOUS.
I am also about to rip my hair out from hearing about the Octomom aka Nadya Suleman. First of all, let me say that I usually don't pay attention to bullshit like this in the "news" but this is ridiculous. The woman has 6 children, one of them has autism in case you didn't know. She lives in a 3 bedroom house, completely trashed from all these kids, with her mother. And now she wants to have 8 more children (of the same age) come live with her there. Please explain to me, anybody, why this woman should be given help from the government? I realize that this is a very touchy subject, and that not all people on welfare, etc are bad, whatever, blah blah blah.. I will spare you from that discussion. She should have never had these 8 children in the first place. And now she's all over the news, saying that she doesn't want help, but obviously does based on her tone of voice and actions in interviews. Don't act so innocent and tragic when you chose, based on your living conditions before you went to the doctor, to get impregnanted and pumped full of hormones to make you have a zillion children at one time. Though I don't personally understand the desire to have children and have a large family, I cannot and WILL NOT sympathize with this stupid woman. I sympathize with the CHILDREN who are having to live in this situation.
Now, moving on to a much cheerier note - IT'S OUR ANNIVERSARY! Serge and I have been married for 4 years today, and although we've hit some rough patches, I am still completely in love with him. I know he has his doubts about marriage in general, but I think deep down he understands what it's like to truly and deeply love someone, and why he married me in the first place. For those of you who have seen us together, in better times, you can probably tell that we care for one another very much. We believe a lot of the same things about life and the ways to live it.. We have healthy arguments and misunderstandings. At the end of the day, I am beyond grateful to be with him, to have him as my husband.
