TribalCon, school work, etc
So TribalCon was pretty fucking amazing.. it was way better than last year for many reasons. I enjoyed the teachers this year much more than last for some reason.. maybe it was the classes they were teaching rather than who they are. We were also way more organized, ESPECIALLY with food runners.. the whole "committee" thing we have going on now, though it has kinks, is a great idea that seems to be on the right track. I finally got to take another zill class and it helped me a lot... I learned some new patterns, on top of what Z has shown me in her zill class.. I even mustered up the energy yesterday afternoon to practice for an hour. I also realized that the dryer does a great rhythm for triplets. haha! It was way more interesting than using a metronome. :-p
Now I have to catch up on all the school work I have neglected for 4 days.. and I found out that my Regents Test is on Saturday, which means I am going to miss the Scion Rock Festival. ARGH. I was really looking forward to that, but if I don't take this exam I will not be able to take any more classes until I do.
My anniversary is in 2 days... Serge is leaving tomorrow, so that sucks.. I won't see him until Sunday. :-(
Poor guy, he's so far behind in school work since he's been gone, and has to leave again, missing a bunch of classes. On the up side, he seems to be pretty excited at the prospect of Arizona State... I hope I can go with him, he hasn't decided about that yet.
