(no subject)
Wow. It's been a really long time since I've updated. I'm keeping up with my paper journal though. I think it illustrates differences in times and situations much better than LJ, just because I can paste things in it and my handwriting is different at different times. It's also much more portable and easier to access at any time. I can't flip through my paper journal like a book, and and this makes it feel much more personable than static words on a computer screen. But LJ still definitely has it's place, and I kinda miss writing in it.
It's hard to decide which events I should highlight since it's been so long. Maybe I shouldn't highlight anything in particular. It's funny how things that seem so earth-shattering as they're happening don't really *mean* all that much after they've passed you buy. They've had an impact and everything, but writing about it after the fact seems somewhat pointless. Sure, lots has happened - but should I *really* write about moving back to school or a shitty weekend or fun coffee dates or whatever? I dunno. Probably not. Let me just say that being here at school and being busy and having a job is definitely good for me. I'm having fun.
Have I ever mentioned Happy Friday Guy on here? He's this guy that rides down the main street on campus on Friday afternoons on a scooter, and he yells "happy friday" at everyone and gives out candy. He's so awesome - he definitely never fails to bring a smile to my face. Do other campuses have their own superhero?! I think not. ;) This Friday I had my camera on me so I ended up getting a picture with him and it was *very* exciting. Be excited everyone! Haha.
