So life has been going fairly well. Life has been good and I haven't killed anyone.
A friend of mine is in hospital and another friend, hopefully, has got out. Family is good, job is going okay and I really couldn't complain too much. Even My Lady Python is working more and gaining more shifts at work. Yay.
This morning I had a long running, persistent, weird ass dream. It had to do with psychic power, megalomania and a hostile take over. Basically, I was involved in a huge dinner to celebrate something or rather, at this building that was really big and multi storied both up and down.
I got a sense of someone's thoughts that disturbed me and started to prepare for something nasty. Before I could act in any significant way, the hostile forces acted. They appeared to be your basic mercenary band, except they were all proof against direct mind attacks. Whoever was running the game was very good. One of my lot, one of the major bosses, managed to create enough of a distraction as he resisted and was taken down, that I was able to run for it with a few others.
Every tactic I thought of to screw the invaders up worked to a certain point, then was disabled by my opponent. It was like they anticipated what I would do, put things in place so that I would be distracted doing them, only to find that what I was doing would either aid them or fail to work. It was really frustrating. I just could not win or make any headway. In fact, my every action aided my opponent in damning me.
I woke up a few times throughout the night, only to return to sleep and the same friggin' dream. To describe it, fantasy fiction wise, I would cross Lensmen with Starwars and the X-men.
Really annoying.
So, anyone else have strange dreams?
