This video is Richard Dawkins giving a talk at
TED in 2004 (or so). A lot of it is about how the term 'atheist' in America has long been taboo. Is that really so? I'm not sure whether it's like that in Australia. I know a lot of people who are atheists, but that's just people under 30. Perhaps it's different for over 30?

If you do watch the video (it's about half an hour, but definitely worthwhile) tell me what you think. In philosophy we debunk everything. Reflexivity (look at
principal concepts section) applies to almost any theory, whether it be political, philosophical, scientific or religious. It is because of this, not because I feel shame for the label "atheist", that I would call myself agnostic. This is as honest as I can be.
