Who wants to know about my life? Anyone? Well, you're gettin' it anyway!
Easter was alright. David came back with me. I guess it had been a while since I was home for Easter because I don't remember Brookings being so...dead. I mean, my friends did their best to make it fun and we did have fun. But I guess I just remember it being more rocking. So then we went to my Grandma's for Easter Sunday and Almost every relative on my mom's side was there. It was nuts!
Last Thursday I looked at a few apartments. I fell in love with this one bedroom unit on the top floor of a house and it was only 410 a month and utilities were one payment at the beginning of the lease. It was perfect except for the fact that I'd have to be moved out next April because they're tearing down the house and all the houses next to it to build a large apartment complex in the summer of 2007. So then I went to look at an effinciency apartment in a house. I really wasn't expecting much because the ad in the paper was so lackluster. But that place was just as good as the first place! And it's only 370 a month!! Oh my god!! So I mailed the app. in on Friday and I got a call today and I'm 99% sure I got the place! I'm so excited! Now I just need to find a storage unit to store all my crap in over the summer. I think life is falling into place.
I also got a lawyer and hopefully I can get some compensation from that time when I was hit by a semi. I think I can trust this guy because I haven't seen him on any billboards by the road. And he doesn't have a 1-800 number. All the things to make him non-schmimey. Excellent!
