Your very best "meat" loaf recipes! I've been craving it lately, and I have no idea how to make it! I'm completely overwhelmed with the amount of loaf recipes I've seen. I want something so good you'd easily say it was the best one you've ever eaten.
Things I have that could possibly be used in your recipe: a bag of TVP (I'd really like to use this), quinoa (red and white), lentils, potatoes, tempeh, chickpeas, black beans, KETCHUP (I'm a ketchup person, not a gravy person, not at least when it comes to meatloaf), vegetable broth, vegetable bouillon, mushroom broth, mushrooms, oatmeal, brown rice, a can of those french fried onions, Maggi seasoning, Gravy Master, Bragg's, nutritional yeast, Marmite, tamari, soy sauce, vegan worcestershire, onion powder, garlic powder, Earth Balance, corn starch, unbleached flour, bread, crackers, salt and pepper.
I know I probably have all of the parts, but I just can't seem to pick what I'd need! I'm usually good at cooking on the fly, but not baking. I don't feel I have control when baking! I don't want this to come out dry or soggy. I don't think I'll have that big of a problem honing in on a good flavor, but the big question of How Much Liquid is scaring me off. :/ I also have a fairly good grocery store not far from me if I need something that I don't have already. Also, I live in a household with two very skeptical omnivores, so if I want them to give me a break, it's got to be pretty convincing and OMGNOM. Thank you ahead of time! :D
ETA: Thank you to everyone for the suggestions. I'm going to be making it in the next few days and when I do, I'll post pictures and a recipe. Again, thanks! :D
