I'm officially bored to tears and apparently too tired to remember how to spell "bored". I kept putting "board" and erasing it...but not recalling for the life of me another way to spell it. "I know I'm not a piece of wood..."
Have you ever really wanted to go do something, anything really, to get out of the house for a smiggin but are just SO beat down tired you just can't? I'm so tired I don't think I can even read. I'd just fall asleep. Nothing sounds fun right now...even though there's a part of me that really wants to go get a beer. I only have $30 to last me another week and 3 days, so I can't really go have any fun.
I've been up since 7:30am studying for my Mesoamerican Archeaology exam today before work. At 2pm I get off work, go to school to study more and read the first 60 pages of In the Days of Victoro, a Native American book on Apaches for a quiz before the Mesoamerican exam.
To top ALL that off, Cassie is sick. For some reason her back side/hip/leg area is in pain, tender to the touch, and she can't jump up or move around too much. She's also having a problem peeing, like she's loosing control of her bladder.
Alex too her to a vet today, who gladly ran pointless tests, took $90 dollars then shrugged and said, "She's fine."
Like hell.
The pool thing still can't move well. When we come home, the first thing she always does is jump up and put her paws on our chests for a hug. She can't, even though she hops and whimpers like she wants to. So I kneel down to meet her so she doesn't have to jump, and don't snap at her when she looses her bladder while she lays down for a pet. Right now instead of doing her "Cassie talk" and jumping around outside, she's laying in the hallway pitifully, waiting on her daddy to get home. :(
So both of us are miserably suck in one place. She of course much worse off than I. I want to do something for her, to cheer her up, but I think she wants her solitude. If not she'd be laying at my feet like normal.
Tonight is a night of lazery. I'll take a shower, try and wake up and read more of my awesome books. I'm almost done with Under A Lucky Star and plan on diving head on into How to Build a Dinosaur after that. Once I get done with one, I plan on snagging Guns, Germs, and Steel next. :3
That's all she wrote for now, boys and girls. I'll see you next time.
Salut.
