I am at a business master mind this week for my personal business (not my job). We were discussing marketing and social media this morning and we were asked what our favorite social media platform is. I’m not on here much anymore, either to read or to add my own entries, but still consider LJ to be my favorite platform. I made so many great friends here, with deep connections. FB and IG are easy, but superficial. You get a blurb and a picture, but you don’t truly get to know people…except those who do videos and share snippets of their lives. Those are still less in depth than what is shared here, but gives you the feeling of being more connected.
Another interesting discussion today was how the isolation during Covid has changed us. I have been working from home since March of 2020. I still like to travel, as I am this week. I feel strange, however, getting out locally and doing things. Ty and I went to a movie and dinner last weekend and it felt odd to do it.
Just a few thoughts bumping around in my brain before I go to sleep tonight.
