My nephew is getting married at the end of February, which hardly seems possible, but apparently I am *that* old. One problem - what to wear? Currently, the only clothes I have the fit even reasonably well are somewhere between completely casual to smart-casual, office smart, or black suits. So, bearing in mind that my size and shape is not well

Can you wear a bright blouse with the black trouser or skirt (dunno which kind of suit it is), and the red coat over it all?

Trouser suit - I don't own any skirt suits, and precious few skirts at all. Problem is, it's fairly traditional for women not to wear black to wedding, and whilst I personally don't give a stuff about traditions, it's not my wedding, and I have no idea how the bride in particualr would feel.

Oh, I doubt it would cause any drama (am always boggled by people who get dramatic about weddings), but I don't actually know her - I've never met the girl :-p
