hey, y'all - i need a pick-me-up. Do you have a quick lil recipe that when you make it you always feel better afterwards?
a biggie for me is macaroni and cheese (cook some pasta, toss it in a pan with some cubed velveta and a spalsh of milk, sprinkle with crunchies of some kind (crushed up doritos work really well!) and bake at 350 until it's at your desired level of melty-ness), and veggie piggies in a blanket (wrap half a veggie dog up into a break-and-bake croissant, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake for however long it tells you to bake the croissants for)... it normally works out because even if the croissants call to be baked at a different temp, it's normally good enough for the macaroni and cheese and i can just throw them in together and they're done at about the same time, so you don't have to worry about a lot of planning as far as that's concerned B-)
But... i dont' want macaroni and cheese. Give me some ideas, please and thank you :) What's your feel good recipe?
