this is ridiculously easy and looks so grown up! so if you ever need to impress the parents or charm someone into bed using your culinary "skills", this should do the trick!
asparagus tart
1 sheet frozen puff-pastry, thawed
1 10oz package of feta cheese
1 1/5 lbs asparagus, ends trimmed (about half of 1 of those bundles of fresh asparagus they sell at the grocery)
1 tbl olive oil
lemon zest
salt and pepper
1. Preheat oven to 400
2. roll out pastry onto baking sheet, prick it with a fork and then bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool
3. spread cheese onto pastry
4. lay trimmed asparagus spears on top of cheese, brush with oil and sprinkle with zest, salt and pepper
5. bake 20 minutes
6. let cool, cut and serve
