Yes, whatever. I got my hair done yesterday, as I ranted about unintelligably. But I really really love it. For those of you who don't know who Ryuu is, my hair is really choppy and poofy and messy, red in the back with two black pieces in the front, and the way it's cut, it can either frame my face in black, or frame it in black AND have black bangs, so I'm real jazzed about that. And the red is none of this shit "I'm still going natural even though my hair will be red." Color. Oh no. My hair is KETCHUP red, thank you. I love it. Anyway, after THAT wonderful bit, of getting complimented left and right by all the hairdressers and all the people in the salon waiting to get their hair done, and leaving the picture of Ryuu there because the lady loved it so much and wanted to show it to her son, I paid. HOLY SHIT. The woman only charged me twenty-five dollars for cut, wash, style, and two colors of hair dye! SCORE! It turns out since my mom went to the church she goes to, she'll do our hair uber-cheap. Which is great!
After that, I went home and got ghettoed out, and mom, dad and I went to the Cher concert. Yes, Cher. Fuck you, I like Cher. It was really good, though I could have done without the people behind us heckling the opening act. The dancers were hot, especially the homo-erotic dance between all four of the male dancers during one of the songs. My favorite part, however, was her beginning speech.
"Now, I know this is my last tour, but all these young up-and coming artists...like Christina Aguilara, Jennifer Lopez..." At this point the crowd booed, and she stated, "You know, that's way beneath you..." Then she paused a moment. "Screw it, I hate them too." Then she went on a bit about how things were, then ended with, "I've always wanted to do this. Ladies, gentlemen, and flamboyant gentlemen! Girls, boys, children of all ages! Welcome to the Cher-iest show on earth!" She cracked a whip, turned to go change, then stopped. "And this is for all those up and coming female artists..." Another pause. "Follow this, bitches!"
And the rest of the show was just great. I really do love her a lot. She's the ONLY female older than...say...30 that I'm even remotely attracted to, and she's older than my mom. But it's all good because she's gorgeous.
