(no subject)
Hey everyone, i PROMISE i'm in a much better mood than last time!
We should all spend a little more time waking up at 4 am, reading an intriguing book, and listening to oldies. seriously. you cant imagine the clarity i got from that last night, thinking about whats important to me.
My Grandpa is visiting here, which is super cool. he's one of my role models in life. he excersizes with a dedication that i aspire to, and so he's in really good shape for someone really old. plus he has really good morals. mom tried to buy him new pants as a present, and he said " Why would I need more pants? You can only wear one pair at a time". and it was just so simple but it makes so much sense. then he said i was a nice gentle kid and that's good because it's rare. i think that made my summer. seriously. i was smiling all night (when i was up at 4am).
Hey, who wants to go hiking with me? I'm thinking about going this weekend. and not a puny hike where there's some lame trail and u just walk along mindlessly. like an actually fun hike where parts of the trail you have to climb over rocks and jump from stone to stone across streams? it's been far too long since i've done that. and dont give me the whole, 'i would but i hate hiking thing' becaue that just means you've been on the wrong type of hikes. ones with tons of friends and actually challengeingly fun will be awesome. it really wakes u up, makes you live more clearly. so leave me a comment if you wanna come.
ahhh i really wanna go running but it's so nasty out today. plus i'm kinda sore from yesterday's run. wow i'm such a pussy. k i think i'm actually just not gonna force myself to run cuz then it's not fun anymore. maybe i'll erg. hm....
I really need a haircut too. Woa this is the most random, lamest entry ever. i'm just sleep deprived so i'm not really thinking about what i'm saying. i'm gonna have kayla cut my hair. it'll save me a couple dollars, plus it'll be funner. she also wants to die it pink. maybe i'll just only let her cut it.
i'm going to miss her so much! She's gone in Paraguay all summer helping out poor people who dont have electricity or plumming or ANYTHING. I'm gonna miss her so much. we were just dancing around the room to cute old songs for a long time. who will i do that with when she leaves? who will laugh with me at jokes that no one else thinks are funny? o poo. plus i've already had to deal with Shara not being here all summer. goodness i will miss her. i bet shara would find the coolest places to go all summer. little places that are really wierd and no one else knows about. man i'll miss that.
anyways, this has been really long and probably boring. as a final word, you should all read the senior pages. they're inspirational about what you want to do during your lakeside years.
